Antiques and Decorative Sale Tuesday 11 July.
Viewing on Saturday 8 July 9am – 1pm and Monday 10 July 9am – 7pm.

Of the many interesting items entered into the sale, one that is likely to get a lot of attention is a Governess Cart which has had an estimate £500-£800 placed on it.

The cart probably dates from the late 19th century and has a refurbished interior. The diameter of the wheels is 46” (117cm). The consignor says it will probably be ideal for a horse between 13.2 – 15 hands.

A fully illustrated catalogue will be on Potburys Auction website and http://www.the-saleroom.com (we aim to publish this online next Tuesday or Wednesday) and live internet bidding is available through http://www.the-saleroom.com

If anyone has any questions about the Governess Cart or any other items in the sale, contact Brinley Roberts MNAVA or Philip Hurst MNAVA at the auction room
